Fine Art meets Wallpaper
The artist Miriam Schwedt used the time of the Corona lockdowns to found her own wallpaper label, “MS Tapete,” and developed her extraordinary design collection. Colorful and wild, off the beaten path of mainstream and trend, yet harmonious and balanced.
The designs are created by high-resolution scanning of tiny snippets of textiles or found objects from nature. Depicted in larger than life and assembled into patterns, they result in abstract motifs that possess a unique aesthetic appeal.
In contrast to conventional roll formats, our wallpapers are produced in single sheets and are hand-cut in our workshop in Berlin.
MS Tapete wallpapers are printed using high-resolution fine art photo printing techniques. The use of highly pigmented inks and premium non-woven wallpaper ensures a durable quality product.
